Born in the dynamic era of 1970s design, this square table was created by Charlotte Perriand to furnish the interiors of the Nova and Lauzières Residences in the picturesque setting of Arcs 1800.

Carefully crafted, its square top made of laminated solid pine provides a striking contrast to the black lacquered metal cross-shaped base.

The tabletop has been restored and refinished.

France, circa 1973.
