Crafted in rosewood veneer, opaline glass and plastic laminate, the composition is centered around a large cabinet with asymmetrical sliding doors. The tapered uprights, suspended shelves and side drawer units create a light and graphic architectural structure characteristic of Gio Ponti's postwar Italian furniture designs.
The contrast between the warm rosewood grain and the lighter opaline and laminate surfaces enhances the geometric composition. The piece reflects Gio Ponti's research into integrated furniture conceived as both refined architecture and functional design.
