Large zoomorphic pitcher created by Suzanne Ramie for the Madoura workshop circa 1945.
Crafted in celadon green glazed earthenware, it features a generous rounded body extended by a stylized rooster's head forming the pouring spout. An arched handle connects the shoulder to the neck, while an elaborate relief decoration of scrolling motifs animates the upper section, giving the piece a strong sculptural presence characteristic of Madoura productions from the 1940's, early work by Suzanne Ramié.
