Rare LC5 daybed by the ARP workshops: The Atelier de Recherche Plastique (ARP in short) was a collaborative project founded in 1954 by Joseph-André Motte, Michel Mortier and Pierre Guariche with the purpose of designing affordable furniture for the masses, both technically and aesthetically innovative. This short-lived association of the three designers ended in 1957.
This model with integrated shelf and ash veneer frame rests on a square tubular base in black lacquered metal.
The piece has been completely reupholstered with a Nobilis Mont-Blanc woolen cloth
