Arne Jacobsen

Arne Jacobsen (1902 - 1971)

Claiming to be an architect above all, Arne Jacobsen is nevertheless recognized as the father of Scandinavian design, the one who laid the foundations for organic modernist furniture. It was from the 1950s that he created his emblematic pieces, such as the Ant Chair (1952), the Swan Chair and the Egg Chair.
