A 1950s desk by André Sornay, cabinetmaker, painter and designer from Lyon.
Rare copy that we wished to leave it in its original condition, with this patina which gives a timeless charm to the objects. Of course, a restoration is possible on request.
Typical the so-called "Tigette" furniture, named after the assembly system invented and patented by André Sornay in 1955, the desk is composed of three inverted U-shaped legs which accommodate a set of 3 drawers and an almond-green lacquered ash top.
Édition : Sornay Meubles, Lyon, circa 1955.
