Rare Director desk by the ARP workshops: The Atelier de Recherche Plastique (ARP in short) was a collaborative project founded in 1954 by Joseph-André Motte, Michel Mortier and Pierre Guariche with the purpose of designing affordable furniture for the masses, both technically and aesthetically innovative. This short-lived association of the three designers ended in 1957.

This model consists of a black lacquered tubular metal structure which accommodates a three-drawers box and a large tray, all in mahogany veneer.
