Two-door Sideboard from Les Arcs by Charlotte Perriand

REF: 6420

Charlotte Perriand, a renowned French architect and designer, was known for her minimalist furniture inspired by both the mountains and Japan. Her approach eliminated unnecessary elements to create functional living spaces, rooted in the belief that superior design contributes to a better society.

Her visionary design for the Les Arcs Ski Resort in France is beautifully embodied in this two-door wall-mounted cabinet. It combines the elegance of solid pine, laminate, and veneered lacquered panels, resulting in a functional work of art.

The cabinet's top showcases a green laminate surface bordered by a sturdy solid pine rim. Its doors and sides boast a sleek white lacquered veneer, accentuated by two substantial solid pine knobs.

Coming from Les Arcs 1800, it was designed for Les Belles Challes-Lauzières residences built in 1973.
