Designer

Pair of Oregon pine chests, designed by Pierre Guariche for Hôtel Le France in La Plagne, around 1965. Each chest the clean, modernist lines characteristic of Guariche's work.

Each piece features a white melamine swing door with an internal divider: on one side, an open storage compartment; on the other, a fixed shelf for added organization. The contrast of varnished wood and white melamine adds a refined, functional touch.
