USM Haller Sideboard with Three Drop-Down Doors, Switzerland, circa 1970

REF: 7751

Sideboard from the USM Haller modular system, developed by Paul Schärer and Fritz Haller from the 1960s onward and produced in Switzerland.

The piece is composed of three closed modules with drop-down doors, supported by a chromed steel tube structure assembled with USM's iconic spherical connectors. The open lower section, organized with shelves, visually lightens the piece and reinforces the architectural clarity of the system. The white lacquered panels integrate precisely within the metal grid, highlighting the balance between industrial rigor and domestic functionality.

Conceived as rational, modular and adaptable furniture, this sideboard exemplifies the USM philosophy at the intersection of Swiss modernist design and interior architecture. It is equally suited to residential and professional environments.
