Pair of A5 wall sconces designed by Alain Richard (1926-2017), a renowned French designer celebrated for his modernist approach and minimalist work that defined the 1950s and 1960s. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs, he collaborated with Disderot, a leading publisher of post-war French design.
These sconces feature a brushed stainless steel and chrome-plated metal structure. The rectangular base supports an elegantly curved stem, topped with a perforated metal spotlight. This design seamlessly combines functionality and refinement, hallmarks of Alain Richard's style.
