Set of three Millepunte stools by M. Peregalli and S. Calatroni, Italy
REF: 7737
Set of three Millepunte stools designed by Maurizio Peregalli and Sergio Calatroni in the mid 1980s and produced by Zeus Noto in Italy.
Each stool features a black lacquered metal tripod base, a structural hallmark of the Millepunte series. The seat is formed by a stretched rubber band connecting the supporting points, expressing a deliberately industrial approach to furniture design. The composition relies on a reduced formal language, combining visual lightness, stability and structural clarity. The contrast between rigid metal and flexible rubber defines the radical identity of the set.
These stools fully reflect Zeus Noto's experimental approach to minimal and modular furniture, representative of Italian design in the 1980s, at the crossroads of design, art and architecture.
