One of his most notable achievements was crafting furniture for the apartments and chalets at Les Arcs, where he skillfully integrated local materials like solid pine. His designs not only prioritized functionality and durability but also harmonized seamlessly with Perriand's modern aesthetic. René Martin's creations are celebrated for their elegant simplicity, sturdy craftsmanship, and innovative design approach.

This pair of quadripod stools with mortise and tenon joints supporting a circular seat, crafted entirely from solid ash, originates from Méribel.
