Model 675 armchair designed in the 1950s by Robin and Lucienne Day and manufactured by Airborne in France.

The chair stands on a slender black lacquered tubular metal base. The molded bent plywood backrest is fully padded with foam and upholstered in moleskine, providing enhanced comfort while preserving the model's characteristic enveloping silhouette. The seat is likewise padded and covered in matching moleskine. Seat height: 18.1 inches.

The interplay between the light metal base and the generous volumes of the upholstered back and seat reflects the modernist approach developed by the Day duo during the 1950s. Model 675 embodies their pursuit of rational, elegant furniture suited to contemporary postwar interiors.
