Lounge Chair "Sur-Repos" by Jean Pacaud, design ca. 1930
REF: 4569
Designer
- Jean PASCAUD
Jean Pascaud is at the origin of this lounge chair with variable inclination, model "Le Sur-repos". This model is a more sophisticated version of the "Sur Repos" who inspired Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand prior to their famous lounge chair.
The black tubular metal structure accommodates imitation leather cushions held by turnbuckles and retractable armrests. On the right side, a rack makes it possible to adjust the inclination.
Riveted plaque: "Dr. Pascaud's Sur-repos". Around 1930.
