Designer

Large set of five chairs called Tulip by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International: true design icons of the 1970s, they are part of the Pedestal collection which wanted to break with the "ugly and hectic world" of table and chair legs. After 5 years of research, Saarineen created this collection with a unique central foot, with a fluid silhouette which earned it international success and to be exhibited in the greatest museums.

Swivelling, their white fiberglass shell accommodates seat pads in honeycomb foam covered with brown woven wool from Kvadrat, the whole rests on a base in white rislané cast aluminium.
