Bauche Chairs by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1950, Set of 2

REF: 7590

Rare set of 2 lounge chairs, Bauche model No.19, designed by Charlotte Perriand and manufactured by Maison Sentou in the 1950s. This collection epitomizes Perriand's vision, seamlessly blending modernism with the essence of nature.

Crafted entirely from ash wood, the chairs feature a structure with four rounded legs connected by spacers, cradling a seat and back expertly woven from straw.

Preserving their original allure, these chairs are in great condition with a charming patina that enhances their appeal. The seats and backrest have been restored.

Manufacturer: Maison Sentou, circa 1950.
