Set of six Bauhaus chairs, RP-6 model, created in the 1930s by Austrian designer Bruno Pollack. These were produced by PEL (Practical Equipment Ltd), the foremost manufacturer of modernist tubular steel furniture in Britain, aspiring to emulate the success of the French Thonet in tubular furniture production.
Originally crafted for the BBC, the tubular metal structure is painted green and secures seat and back canvases with visible screw systems.
In used condition. Seat height: 16,5 inches
